General Description

Hope Fellowship is seeking to hire a part-time Director of women’s care who will work alongside the lead pastor to create and implement a culture of care and connectivity for the women of Hope Fellowship. The Director of women’s care will report to the lead  pastor and advisory board of Hope Fellowship.

Qualifications

  • The candidate must be a woman. Due to the gender-specific nature of this role, only women will be considered for this position.

  • High School Diploma required, college degree preferred

  • Preferably has a minimum of five years leadership experience with at least two of those being in a ministry context

  • Has experience teaching the Bible in a large group setting

  • Has at least one year of counseling experience

  • Is passionate about women’s ministry

  • Is able to communicate cross-culturally

  • Has good organization skills

  • Is proficient in recruiting, equipping, and mobilizing volunteers

  • Is highly relational with a strong desire to regularly meet with leaders to give support and coaching

  • Possesses the biblical character qualifications of a deacon, the servant-leaders of the church

  • Is able to work independently, solve problems, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion

  • Agree with Hope Fellowship's beliefs and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that reflects those beliefs

Specific Objectives

The primary role of the Director of Women’s Care is to create a culture of care and connectivity by:

  • Attending weekly staff meetings

  • Connect weekly with the women of Hope Fellowship

  • Creating an environment for mentoring and discipleship for the women of the church to help them grow spiritually

  • Planing quarterly women’s connection events

  • Assembling and overseeing a women’s care team at Hope Fellowship that will be able to encourage the women of our church

  • Teaching monthly women’s bible studies and track attendance

  • Creating and implementing a system for frequent and consistent communication to encourage the women of Hope Fellowship by texting, emailing, or sharing a meal with them

  • Being willing to complete an online seminary counseling course
