Student Ministry Internship

The student ministry internship is designed to be an opportunity for someone with a heart for leading students and young children to have a place to learn and grow their outreach skills. This internship will involve reaching young people, loving them, and showing them Christ through everyday life. Interns will lead bible studies and be a mentor for students. This position is unpaid and requires 5 hours of ministry work per week. This internship is designed to start in August and last the duration of the school year (end date can be flexible, if needed).


  • Assist in planning events for middle and high school students

  • Lead weekly Bible studies for students

  • Be present in the lives of students by visiting them at school and spending time with them in their everyday lives

  • Assist with the planning and implementation of Sunday morning gatherings for both students and children

  • Assist with Hope Kids

  • Attend Hope Fellowship on Sunday mornings

  • Attend monthly discipleship and leadership meetings

Qualifications and requirements

  • Agree with Hope Fellowship's beliefs and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that reflects those beliefs

  • Personable, self motivated, punctual, organized, and hard working

  • Enjoy working with students and children

  • Strong Leadership skills. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to take charge.
